Break The Chain Of Wildlife Trade

Updated: Jul 31, 2019

One of the gift of God to us is Wildlife. The term Wildlife doesn’t mean just wild animals. It includes all undomesticated lifeforms on earth. Like animals, birds, fungi, microorganisms and so on.

Unfortunately today, wildlife is endangered. Animals are being poached and hunted to fulfill the greedy wishes of we humans. They are being killed for ivory, fur, leather, making jewelry, medicine etc.,. Its not the poachers alone who are part of this inhuman act. Each and everyone who drive this demand are equally responsible!

We have forgotten that we once lived in wild and were wild too….

Animals have feeling too…..

We aren’t the sole dwellers on Earth. We have no right to disturb the ecosystem and harm Mother Earth!

LET US NOT BE EGOCENTRIC! LET US BE ECOCENTRIC!

I have made a sincere effort to write a poem on Stopping Wildlife trade. Find the video of the same.

BREAK THE CHAIN OF WILDLIFE TRADE!

Elephant Ivory and Rhino horns,

Are what they’re poached for, and their babies are left to mourn.

Tigers are poached for making rugs,

By feeding them with drugs.

Many animals are slaughtered,

While the poachers howl with laughter.

Demand drives these acts,

And these are not fun facts.

Think how you feel when you’re separated,

And how animals feel when they are segregated.

Who makes this happen?

It’s we, humans of course!

So come, let’s help stop wildlife trade,

Where animals are poached and products are made!

Let’s not keep animals as pets,

Instead let birds back in their nests.

Let’s stop this inhuman act!

Save animals,

And be a part of the noble act!
