The Community quiz ( August - September 2019)
It is rightly said that we do not inherit the world from our past, rather we borrow it from the future. Therefore, it is our responsibility, not only to use the ’borrowed’ resources, but to enlighten the future generation, that is the present kids on the hazardous effects of improper disposal of recyclable wastes. As a Sfe. Ambassador, I was inspired to start up a community campaign. Among 14 kids in our community I was successfully able to spread the message of the impending danger faced by mankind by recyclable wastes. We conducted a quiz, and had a paper bag making session. It was an enlightening attempt as it helped improve my knowledge on the world and helped widen my approach towards tackling such issues.
We must realise that every small step taken is a huge leap for mankind and we must do what we can and what we should.
