Waste segregation means dividing waste into dry and wet waste. This makes it easier to identify things for reuse, recycling, composting, disposing etc.

Paper is collected and stored separately and later given for recycling.

Plastic waste is also collected at home and then deposited in plastic recycling centres.

I have a bottle cap collection for making DIY art and craft.

Onion peel, egg shell etc. from the kitchen are used as fertilizers for plants.
